Medplaya Hotel Rio Park - Benidorm

Loved the upgraded room on the first floor! The pool area is fantastic, and the entertainment was spot on. A great variety at dinner made every meal nice.

Felt like home, nothing too much trouble.

Polite staff, airy and updated room with shower gel, hairdryer and large bathroom. Incredible location, 15 minutes' walk to Space.

The hotel was clean and had courteous and nice staff that were obviously management. The location in a new area was marvellous and fab and there were a main market and a supermarket nearby. The restaurant was top-notch with choice of food brilliant, I tried rich dishes. There was plenty of food for breakfast, including cereals and croissants.

great amenities but inconsistent food

The entertainment team was fantastic,, providing engaging shows that kept us entertained throughout our stay. The pool area offered a good environment for relaxation, with clean facilities that were always well-maintained. The central location made it easy for us to explore local attractions. We enjoyed being just a stroll away from the beach. The buffet had a variety of options.

The beds are very uncomfortable.

Room was fine, just enough space for the 3 of us, great power-shower tho! Reception we're v.helpful and speak excellent English. Pool was fab, just the right temperature to cool off but not turn blue! Food is adequate, good salad bar and desserts, main dishes are clearly aimed at Brits with roast beef, roast pots, sausage & chips ect. but still hot and plentiful. Breakfast is fab though, filled us up for the whole day! Location is excellent, quiet but central to Benidorm, main club strip only 10 mins away and plenty of other bars around too. The beaches are also lovely, altho we couldn't swim cos of the jelly fish! Would reccommend to anyone

The loungers by the pool are rock-hard, buy a lie-lo if you plan on spending any time round there! Bar prices we're just okay, there are cheaper bars a stones throw away_try cheap & cheerful just along C.Jaen, 50c a beer!

excellent, wide variety of food choice, friendly staff, accommodated friends when their bookings weren't processed through Booked.net despite confirmation slips received. Additional rooms keys available.

Everything, it was really great little break, location was great, food excellent and a really friendly hotel, comfortable and clean.

Check-in was a bit slow but we were a little earlier than planned.

This is a two star hotel but dont be put off by that.it is an excellent hotel with wonderful food and such a big choice.absolute value for money.nearby are three nice bars which are extremely reasonable but if you want to stay in the hotel the prices, also are reasonable.wouldnt go anywhere else.

For me the beds are a bit too hard apart from that nothing

For a 2* hotel the food was excellent with plenty of choice. Good location just a short stroll to the bars and restaurants. Reception staff polite and helpful.

We booked 1 double and 1 single room. The single rooms are very very small with small window and no balcony which apparently is why the hotel only has 2*. Better to upgrade to double room with single occupancy but as hotel full we could not do so. Ok for us as only staying 4 nights.

The facilities have seen a major facelift, with a new children's splash area that's perfect for little ones. Daily entertainment caters to all ages, especially during events like the foam party.

Getting to the entrance of the hotel can be a hassle with a long, cobbled path that's not ideal when lugging bags or pushing strollers. The room's layout felt a bit awkward, with an oversized extra bed that served as shelf space, and some maintenance issues like a shaky shower rail and a poorly designed toilet area didn't help either. Noise levels at night could be disruptive due to events and rowdy guests, impacting sleep quality, and the dining options had some consistent hits and misses, often leading to cold or bland meals.

Only 1 night place to sleep

i stayed there for 4 days and i think it was a very good value for the money, excellent breakfast, with lots of choices and nice staff.

i didn't like the bed,not very comfortable,the duvets sheets where not changed for the whole stay ,which was 5 days.Nothing to play for children and the tv in the room too small and too high on the wall.
